Singer Amani is planning a major comeback after a long hiatus that had most of us thinking her music days were behind her. Agreeing that she has been off the music scene, the singer revealed she was just watching and was preparing to make a come back.
Amani signed to Ogopa Deejays in 1999 soon after graduating from high school where she was part of the accapella group Sobriety. She went on to make hit after hit and bagged a number of awards and countless nominations.
Amani was Speaking to NairobiNews when she made her first public appearance in months at Tribeka Club during the Wakilisha East Africa Show.
“It is always good sometimes to be off the music radar and watch as you plan to hit back,” she said.
Speaking about her situation with Ogopa, she said: “I’m sorry I cannot discuss about that at the moment.”
