At one time during the ceremony held at Safaricom Stadium Kasarani, TV cameras pointed to a lady seated next to Mutua.
A lady many would soon learn was his wife.

Her name is Josephine Thitu Mutua. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, a master’s degree in Public health and a Doctorate in Pharmacy.
Together with Mutua, they’ve been blessed with three children; four year old twins and the eldest child only 7.
